The float from the Sophomore class of 2006, "Nifty Fifties" was selected as the best of the year. Because of the difficulty in getting hay wagons onto the field because of construction, the competing classes were limited to creating a placard float. Accepting the trophy from Alumni Association President Ed Fischer ('60) were members of the float committee - from left to right: Anish Mehta, Alex Glassmann and Diana Tieger. Not available for the award ceremony was Philip Lene.
