Happy and excited students, parents and friends flooded into the football stadium on Friday, September 28, 2001, for Homecoming!
The Band was ready. The Color Guard was ready. Everyone was looking forward to an exciting game, and the halftime activities.
The team was ready to play, and by half time had a nice lead. Then, the band took the field for its performace.
A committe from the Board of Trustees of the Alumni Association was on hand to judge the floats. From left to right, they were: Dana Ewell ('58), Ed Fischer ('60), Geoff Strauss ('67), and Greg Johnson ('79), with Joan Klee Ewell ('58) holding the coveted Eagle Trophy.
The float from the class of 2004, "Disco Fever," was selected as the best of the year. Receiving the award on behalf of the class were: J.D. Dilbone, Anne Delek, Phil Bowdle, and John Krehbiel. Vice President Ed Fischer presented the trophy, while Treasurer Geoff Strauss and Webmaster Dana Ewell observed.
