The 10th Annual All-Member Alumni Association
Reunion was held on Saturday, June 24th, 2006 in Denver, Colorado.
Almost three dozen alumni checked in to the Reunion Registration Desk. Greeting them at the door was Alumni Trustee Dana Ewell ('58), who was accompanied by his wife, Joan Klee Ewell ('58).
The main Guest Of Honer this evening was Earl Boland. He was head varsity basketball coach, J.V. basketball coach, track coach, baseball coach, and athletic director - and he taught physical education. That varsity basketball team won 9 and lost 6. He travels around in a nice motor coach.
Earl brought Curt and Carol Gamble (both '57), who live in Cederidge, Colorado. The other Guest Of Honor was Bill Kincaid, who was accompanied by his wife, Mildred. They sat at the same table with Earl, and shared a number of war stories from their days on the faculty at Indian Hill.
Attendees were from the classes of 1957, through 1996! We were delighted to have such an all-encompassing gathering. Among the attendees were Michael Baker ('61) and his wife Shari, JoAnn Feige Frazer ('63), Trisha Lindner Flynn ('96) and her husband Jason, Greg Johnson ('79) and Victoria Zegel ('83).
Other attendees were; Kelly Ann Young ('63), Tracy Schoeney Rutz ('96) and her mate Jeffrey, David Bessen ('72) and his wife Lisa, Richard Cook ('62) and his wife Stephanie, Donald Nelson ('72) and his mate Colleen, and John ('69) and Joan Lohr.
Matk Claybon ('90) brought his wife Alexa. Todd Lytle ('77) revisited with fellow classmate Sarah Hoskin Clymer ('77) who was accompanied by her brother, Nicholas Hoskin ('80).
Having the chance to visit with each other, do some remembering, and also so see the Guests Of Honor was enjoyable for everyone. And, it gave folks the chance to get their pictures taken with their favorite teacher.
Bill Kincaid caught up with Tom Carlisle ('58). And, everyone enjoyed the suptuous buffet. The very essense of the All-Member Reunions are for old classmates, and those of various classes to have the chance to come together for a fun evening, and be able to share stories and rememberances - catch up with what's going on in everyone's lives, and have the chance to see some faces from home again. If you've never been to one of our reunions, next year will be the eleventh we've held - so we hope to see you there!
