This was a SPECIAL year,
commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Indian Hill High School.
So, we held the 8th All-Member Alumni Association Reunion
at the amazing, brand NEW High School.

Alumni of all ages flocked into the new school, and found their way through the new, unfamiliar corridors to the cafeteria. Hundreds of alumni from five decades filled the facility.

The class of 1957, spearheaded by Curt and Carol (Wilkening) Gamble, had the biggest percentage of attendees of any class. And one of the original alumni was there - Gary Baker, class of 1954.

Jim Prohaska ('57) was delighted to see Earl Boland, who was his coach all of those many years ago. Alahna (Weller) Lilley, who would have graduated in the class of '57 if she had not moved, her husband John and Julia Stevens ('57) share remembrances.

The class of 1954 had a number of returnees, including Larry Bicknell, Pete Osborne and Jim Lodwick. And, old friends Ken Juergens ('56) and Jim Crane ('57) caught up with events.

Members of the class of '54, Helen (Seelmeyer) Kugel, Larry Bicknell, Gary Baker and Pete Osborn and Carolyn (Saffer) Willberg visit with a one of their favorite teachers, Luellyn Pyles. We had a large number of former faculty, including, Seated L to R--Jim Stacey, Alice Stephan (secretary), Pat Connely, Frank Gallenstein. Standing, 1st row L to R- Charlie Wojcik, Annella Lanham, Mary Berwanger, Rowley Elliston. Standing Back Row- Tom Slater, Martha Selzer, Hugh Meabon, Jim Powers, Bill Kincaid and Luellen Pyles.

Lafe Miller, math teacher from 1968 to 1984 and Math Department Chairman in 1983, enjoyed seeing so many former colleagues. Lynette (von Hedemann) Greene, Eddie Fischer (President of the Alumni Association, Gayle (Mackenzie) Taylor and Lynn (Ruehlmann) Besl, all of the class of 1960, bring each other up to date.

Former Faculty members, Tom Slater and Jim Stacy reconnect and share war stories. Rachael (Wulfhorst) Bricker ('58) even brought her Mom, who reported knowing a lot more people than she had expected, and having a wonderful time.

The Stevens family took the opportunity for a little family reunion; Julia (Stevens) Gregg ('57), Marlyn (Stevens) Caro ('59) and Tom Stevens ('62). The Alumni Association's first President. Steve Hilmer (''68) caught up with Faculty Advisor and current Board member Bill Kincaid.

The Alumni Association's Archivist, Greg Johnson provided some really interesting items from the Archives for attendees to enjoy. Ken Juergens ('56) took the opportunity to visit with Valeta (Poff) Gottesman ('55).

Geoff Strauss ('67) enjoyed being surrounded with ladies from his class, Debby (Mehas) Shepard, Nancy Crull, Judy (Ulrich) Selzer and Elaine (Binstadt) Shernoff. The Indian Hill Boosters were kind enough to open the store they have next to the cafeteria so attendees to see it (here, Bill Kincaid checks out the offerings).

One of the surprises of the reunion was the unveiling of the Incredible Bill Kincaid Bobblehead Doll! Spearheaded by Jeff Creighton ('78), the Bobblehead looks just like Bill, and they really delighted many of the alumni who saw them.
