4th All-Member Reunion

rb bar

club Over 160 happy and excited alumni and their dates or mates gathered at the lovely, recently expanded, Kenwood Country Club on June 17th, 2000 for the 4th All-Member Alumni Association Reunion. Even the weather cooperated. Thunderstorms, which had pounded the area earlier, took a break for the evening and let the festivities go on as planned.

welcome

If, for some reason, you did not take advantage of the opportunity to attend this year's reunion, you missed a really great party!

Previous Reunions have been held at the High School, Moonlite Gardens, and on a River Boat.

Bill Kincaid, retired teacher and honorary member of the class of 1959 welcomed two of the honorees to the party. Here he is shown with Mary Berwanger (English) and Charlie Wojcik (Biology, etc.).

Dale McKibben (Business) and Jim Powers (Social Studies) were unable to attend.

2pres

Our current Alumni Association President, Peg Groene ('73) welcomed The Founding President, Steve Hilmer ('65).

Steve is sharing presidential war stories with Peg.

Steve was the fellow who headed up the Association during its formative years, and without whom there most probably would not be such a dynamic, growing Association.

'60

Here, three members of the class of 1960 (all of whom still live in the Cincinnati area) visit and bring each other up to date. Karen (Bonini) McGee [Director of Nursing for Midwifery Associates], Gayle (MacKenzie) Taylor [who owns her own Wallpapering business], and Ed Fischer [President of his own Paint company] had plenty of catching up to do.

draw

Ed Fischer also helped out with the drawings for the door prizes.

Bill Kincaid and Peg Groene (shown on the right) shared the honors of pulling the winning tickets and awarding the prizes.

The prizes included tickets to Reds baseball games, coupons for discounts at area merchants, key rings, and even included one of the marvelous Alumni Association Coverlets.

win

Kathy (Dugle) Goodman ('67) [on the right] was the lucky winner of the Coverlet.

When she saw how rich and comfortable it was, she invited fellow classmate Judy (Ulrich) Selzer ('67) to try it out with her.

As you see from their happy expressions, an Alumni Coverlet feels sooo good!

dance

Bill Kincaid shares a dance to the nostalgic music with Mary Berwanger.

Excellent music provided by "Mr. T" (the Disk Jockey), the chance to see and visit with so many old friends, and the marvelous food provided by Kenwood Country Club made the evening a really special and memorable event.
